The DIN team’s Q3 2024 updates include new network integrations, social handles, a recurring NFT series, and preparation for DevCon in Thailand.
As we wrap up the third quarter of 2024, the Decentralized Infrastructure Network (DIN) continues to push the boundaries of decentralized technology. This quarter has been one of tremendous growth and innovation, with new network integrations, enhanced community engagement through social media, the introduction of a recurring NFT series, and exciting plans for the upcoming DevCon in Thailand. Let’s dive into the highlights.
Launch of new network integrations: Starknet, ZKsync, BNB Smart Chain, and opBNB
In our ongoing effort to expand and enhance the Web3 ecosystem, we are thrilled to announce the summer integration of four new blockchain networks into the DIN ecosystem: Starknet, ZKsync, BNB Smart Chain (BSC), and opBNB.
Starknet integration: enhancing resiliency through DIN
On August 12, 2024, we successfully migrated Infura’s Starknet endpoints to DIN. This move is part of our larger strategy to decentralize critical infrastructure, ensuring enhanced resiliency and reliability for our users. By leveraging the network of vetted providers within DIN, we guarantee high-quality, low-latency connectivity for Starknet, while maintaining the seamless experience our users expect.
If you’d like to learn more about the supported methods, you can reference the Starknet docs.
Expanding the network: ZKsync, BNB Smart Chain, and opBNB
In addition to Starknet, this quarter saw the successful integration of ZKsync, BNB Smart Chain (BSC), opBNB, and Scroll into the DIN ecosystem. These networks are now available via Infura’s dashboard, decentralized by DIN, offering developers new opportunities to build and scale their applications.
- ZKsync: As a Layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum, ZKsync offers dramatically increased transaction speeds and reduced costs, making it a powerful tool for developers looking to scale their dapps without sacrificing security.
- BNB Smart Chain (BSC): Known for its rapid transaction processing and deep integration with the Binance ecosystem, BSC is a go-to platform for developers targeting markets in Asia and beyond.
- opBNB: Leveraging Optimism’s Layer 2 technology, opBNB further enhances scalability and cost-efficiency on the BNB Smart Chain, making it ideal for high-performance applications.
These integrations underscore our commitment to staying at the forefront of decentralized infrastructure, providing our community with the tools they need to succeed in a rapidly evolving landscape.
DIN’s new social media presence
Recently, DIN expanded its digital footprint by launching new social media handles across major platforms under the @DINBuild handle. These channels are the hub for all things DIN—keeping our community informed about the latest updates, sharing insights from the industry, and fostering conversations around the future of decentralized infrastructure.

Introducing the DIN NFT series
To celebrate our growth with more Web3 native marketing techniques, we’ve launched a 12-part DIN NFT series via Phosphor. Each installment in this series was generated with either Midjourney or Dall-E with a highlight of the collaborative spirit that defines DIN.
The NFTs will be dripped through the Phosphor NFT creator page and shown on the Phosphor app feed. If you’re an artist or creator, DIN recently published a tutorial called “Case Study: How DIN Used Phosphor to Launch an NFT Series” to show how to mint an Advanced Drop and schedule it for weeks in advance.
DevCon in Thailand
The next few weeks will be gearing up for an exciting presence at DevCon in Thailand on Nov 13th. This event will be a major platform for DIN, MetaMask, and DIN Partners to showcase our latest innovations, engage with the global developer community, and launch our DIN whitepaper.
We’re excited to connect with you IRL and demo our new functionalities at this premier event.
Stay tuned for more
Q3 accelerated the adoption of new networks for DIN, and we’re not slowing down. Stay tuned for more exciting updates, and don’t forget to follow us on our new social channels (DINBuild on X, Mirror.xyz, and YouTube) to stay informed.
